The fragrant nose of honeysuckle, pink grapefruit and floral honey pulls you into this sleek and elegant Mosel Spatlese that has a wonderful harmony. So straight, clean and invigorating on the medium-bodied palate. Very long and extremely slatey finish. Drink or hold.

Vinified predominantly in stainless steel, the 2021 Zeltinger Schlossberg Spätlese shows a brilliant, pale yellow-green color and offers a pure and a bit untamed nose of bright fruits with herbs and finely weathered stony notes. Lush and lean but mouth-filling, this is a very elegant, refined and mouth-watering, saline-finishing Spätlese with fine reduction and the vision of a long-distance run. Not as complex as the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr at this early stage, but let's speak again in 20 years. Approximately 8.5% stated alcohol. Tasted as a sample ready to be bottled in July 2022.

A plump, generous and delicious style, offering lemon zest and bitter verbena notes atop flavors of glazed apricot and melon. Silky and sleek, with energy humming throughout. Citrus zest and savory dried thyme notes add cut and drive to the structured finish, with a tanginess that lingers. Drink now through 2040. 190 cases imported.
