A taut, red fruit-flavored Barolo, this evokes strawberry, currant and cherry flavors framed by eucalyptus and iron. A firm grip of integrated tannins mark the finish now, yet this is balanced and lingers. Best from 2025 through 2040. 1,000 cases made, 600 cases imported.
Ripe berries and chalky minerals on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with rather soft, velvety tannins and a hint of cherry chocolate in the aftertaste. Should be pleasantly drinkable from 2023.
