With delicate notes of ripe apricot, mango, spices and ripe white peach, the 2022 Doisy Daëne possesses a medium to full-bodied, enrobing and complex palate with a delicately fleshy core of fruit enhanced by bright acids and a long, mineral and fresh finish. This blend of 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc is a well-executed classic Barsac with freshness and tension. It should age gracefully over the next 30 years.
Fresh, discerning gooseberries, currant leaves, lime and flint on the nose. Very bright on the palate with medium body and zingy, high acidity. Pretty gastronomic. Drink now or hold.
Bright and fresh, with verbena, thyme, tarragon and oyster shell notes that dart around a juicy core of white peach and yellow plum. Keeps excellent tension through the finish, with an echo of fleur de sel. Drink now through 2030. 2,800 cases made, 435 cases imported.
