Straw yellow with golden highlights. On the nose, white flowers and white-fleshed stone fruits evolving into notes of buttery hazelnuts. Honey hints develop over ageing. Mouth-filling and plump with honey and fresh ripe fruits (peach, white currant). Great length with an elegant citrus finish.
A blend of 85% Grenache Blanc, 10% Clairette and 5% Bourboulenc, the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc les Hauts de Barville exhales aromas of white flowers, pear, citrus and crushed stones. Medium-bodied, tense and supple, it’s enveloping and juicy with a harmonious balance and an ethereal, mouthwatering finish. Matured in stainless tanks and for six months in concrete tanks, this is a straightforward Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc.
