This is the main white in the Polígonos range, and most of the others are almost experimental wines. This is also the only white that is matured exclusively in oak, as the variety needs oxygen and lees and works well with oak. The Semillon is back in fashion, and it's a variety that makes sense, with 12.5% alcohol and great freshness and acidity, matured in 500-liter oak barrels for six months. This is a serious wine; it's not a very aromatic variety, but it's very textured, with moderate alcohol and a sharp profile. It's about texture and mouthfeel with stuffing, freshness and balance to develop nicely in bottle.
