The color is bright, deep morello cherry-red. The nose reveals aromas of blackberries, raspberries and ripe strawberries with just a touch of tobacco and spices such as clove and cinnamon. It is a medium-bodied wine with elegant structure, balanced acidity and very ripe, elegant tannins. The finish is moderately-long, dominated by red fruits and followed by sweet vanilla and black pepper.
This is a lively and juicy red showing raspberries, sour cherries, balsamic and oranges on the nose. Medium-bodied with tight tannins and plenty of wild energy. Drink or hold.
The Domaine Skouras 2021 Nemea Agiorgitiko Saint George has a bright and punchy fruit profile with ruby-red cherry, sweet currant and perfumed lavender. It shows tension, energy, good freshness (it's not too acidic) and a pleasantly tapered mid-weight style. You get a lot of food-pairing potential out of this bottle. White wine lovers will easily fall in love with this interpretation of the red Agiorgitiko grape.
