Ried (single vineyard, cru) Gaisberg belongs to three villages (Kammern, Zöbing and Strass) and is situated on Gaisberg mountain east of Heiligenstein.
This richly textural, but only medium-bodied, Gaisberg dry riesling has an exciting thread of flinty minerality woven into it. Delicate stone fruit aromas in the nose, but at the finish candied orange peel mingles with the stony character and leesy complexity. Made for the long term. Sustainable. Drink or hold.
