Lime cordial, quince paste, talc, spa salts and a briny, tangy finish of impressive length, as reliant on a waft of well positioned phenolics as it is on freshness. The 2023 No. 33 is a sensational depiction of Clare Valley. It has it all—green apple skins, lime flesh and blossom, crushed rocks, talc and brine. For $18.99 (USD) this is a brilliant value wine that shows delicacy and power, site and maker, all in equal measure.
