From the Les Pargues vineyard in the valley between the 1er Cru Montmains hill and 1er Cru Vaillons hill; this is considered a top site by the monks. Aged 50% in neutral oak and 50% in tank.
The 2023 Chablis La Grande Vallée, which comes from the lieu-dit Les Pargues, is a great success, opening in the glass to reveal a bouquet of pear, beeswax and toasted nuts mingling with oyster shell and iodine. Taut, with ample structuring extract and incisive personality, it deserves a place in every Chablis lover's cellar. Those familiar with the style of Patrick Piuze will appreciate how it captures freshness and energy.
