This powerful wine’s ripe black berry aromas develop into supple tannins prior to a long finish. It will develop in the bottle for five to eight years. Serve with red meats, lamb and mild cheeses.
Revealing aromas of cherries, sweet red berries and petals, the 2022 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Clos de la Croix de Pierre (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, with a pretty core of fruit and a chalky, mineral finish.
