Derived from vines planted on clay, rocky soils facing south, the 2022 Gigondas from Reserve Saint Dominique exhales aromas of violet, iris and dark wild berries mingled with carnal notes. Medium to full-bodied, enrobing and dense, it's built around youthfully assertive tannins and a lively, long finish. Matured for 12 months in tanks, this is a blend of 80% Grenache Noir, 10% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah.
