Tenuta Frescobaldi 2022 presents a wonderful bright ruby red color with purple highlights. The bouquet is intense, complex, characterized by fruity notes reminiscent of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry and currant to flow into spicy hints reminiscent of pepper and cinnamon. Notes reminiscent of cocoa powder and roasting prevail on the finish. The palate is warm, soft and round, with intense fruity notes returning and a delicately spicy finish. The tannins are present but extremely velvety.
Attractive notes of dark cherries, chocolate, oranges, red spices and lavender. Medium-bodied and structured but very fine and nicely filled with fruit. Succulent and long, with a polished finish. Drink or hold.
