Deep and bright ruby colour. Fine perfumes impact of blackberry and blueberry jam, blackcurrant and mint; it opens on aromas of Mediterranean bush, red orange, tobacco and black pepper. The mouthfeel is round and tasty; it shows a dynamic structure, embodied with a beautiful freshness in which the silky tannic texture constitutes an excellent basis for a long term bottle maturation. Very persistent on citrus notes.

Bright cherries, spice and hints of dried flowers. Also rose stem. Medium-bodied with firm and lightly chewy tannins. Bright. Needs time to soften. Better after 2025.

The Fattoria le Pupille 2020 Morellino di Scansano Riserva is Sangiovese cut with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It ages in Slavonian oak casks for 15 months. This wine delivers a zippy, especially bright drinking style with cherry, violets and menthol notes at the back. Those precise aromas, plus the wine's elegant mid-weight texture make this a terrific food option.

This rich red is full of plum, cherry, iron, vanilla and oak spice flavors. The tannins are firm, leaving a light cherry pit bitterness on the persistent finish. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2026. 3,528 cases made, 800 cases imported.
