Based on own grapes sourced from top sites in Kinheim, Erden and Ürzig and vinified in stainless steel, the 2023 "H" Riesling is very clear, refined and flinty or smoky on the generous and tropical-scented nose. Dense and saline as well as savory on the palate, this is a finely textured, substantial and seriously structured Riesling with enormous quality and expression. This is far too good to be sold for 9.90 euros. Even doubled would be a bargain since this wine is predominantly sourced from steep top vineyards. 9.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in January 2025.
