Intense aromas of juicy blackberries, dark cherry, and charred lemon are enhanced by an expansively layered, concentrated palate. Subtle oak and savory notes weave throughout for a captivating texture that draws the Pinot to a long, powerful finish.
The 2021 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley, matured for 13 months in 38% new French oak, takes some time to shake off its cedary new oak and reveal red cherry, pipe tobacco and garrigue. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and refreshing with concentrated, spicy fruit, and it has a long finish laced with baking spices.
A broad, rich style, with boysenberry and blackberry puree notes cruising along, laced with fresh pine forest, anise and black tea notes that blossom through the toasty finish. Drink now through 2027. 1,500 cases made.
